Over my 15 year history, I have interviewed countless bands & for those of you who know Robbs MetalWorks- you know that we have always supported ALL genres of rock and METAL! And of all the melodic rock bands whose musicianship & song writing hit my heart & soul - non other did it better than Creed. Thus, I was really excited about conducting this interview with bassist, Brian Marshall, taking into consideration the band's successful reunion & return in 2009. So in this chat with Brian, completed at Sunken Gardens Theater here in San Antonio on August 11, 2012 - we cover a variety of topics: 1. the reunion of Creed & how there was much needed clearing up before it could successfully happen. 2. the Summer tours in which they played full versions of 'My Own Prison' & 'Human Clay' & how that will probably never happen again. 3. the writing process which has already begun for the new Creed record & when it will see the light of day. 4. how Mark asked him to join the touring band for the Tremonti Project & whether he will play on the next Tremonti cd. 5. & why he was humbled to be in front of our cameras for the first time. This is a GREAT interview in my opinion - with lots of energy chemistry, info & just all around good vibes. THIS is what its all about & THIS is why we continue to do what we do. Long live RMW! ~ El Mero Metal, Robb Chavez
I doubt we will get new Creed music early 2013 either.
So now we have to ask Flip what Living Colour song he was jamming because Mark recalls it as one song but in Stapp's book he said it was Living Colour too but not the same song Mark said. I bet Mark is right because he was actually jamming it when Flip joined in. But it would be cool to hear it from Flip.
