The mistake here was not using the great acoustic version that they put on the retro, Mark sounds excellent on the acoustic version. That special version would be the reason to make a lyric video for an old song otherwise I'm not getting why they spent money on this.
I think you have a point but I like it for another reason... It puts focus on who Creed really is. If I see another post about WAWO, Higher, OLB or MS I think my head will explode. That's the mistake the people who run Creed (cough and Scott) make, they keep Creed in that box of the songs that are over played and talked about way too much so people are turned off at the mention of the name Stapp or Creed. Those songs are not even who Creed really was if you look at the majority of the songs they have. I wish the guys were more involved in how they get presented, it should be Mark, Brian and Flip because lets be honest, the world has had it's fill of Scott for awhile. Creed has to have the other 3 members take the forefront to spark a chance at a future. They are the ones without drama, who are respected by everyone and who we have not got to hear from in a long time when it comes to Creed.
It's good to see a label doing something but I wish they were doing things that actually helped Creed instead of putting energy into making slideshow videos to upload to Creed's youtube, that is a waste of time and dumb.
This is a descent lyric video but I think they should of used the acoustic version.

I don't really get why some are confused as to why they didn't use the acoustic version of "To Whom it May Concern" for the lyric video? Really? It doesn't sound all that great and cuts off in the middle of the song! Why WOULD they use it, just because of the more noticeable harmony?
