It could very well be a label and people who are anti Creed. Look up the man who was doing it when all that Stapp crap was going on. He was a hipster dork who added all these bands from his own label to Creed pages. Everyone has an agenda and it's too bad Creed never has things in place that meet with the agenda of Creed doing well, connecting to the people who like the band and hell even helping the guys make some cash off Creed. The band should stop this now before this gets worse. What would it take for Brian, Flip, Scott and Mark to take 1 minute every few weeks and post something. That is a hell of a lot better then someone posting "this is the heavier side of creed" stupid as hell posts.
Only a total dumbass or someone doing it on purpose would of thought to call us that. Either way that is not who should be communicating with Creed's fans in my opinion. Why does this get to even happen and it's ok with Creed? That is what I want to know.

paul, savannah, so basically the band has no fans at their own label? Sure, when the Meltzers owned Wind-Up they treated the band like their cash cow, but at least you could tell they cared (if only because of the band's revenue). But lately? I think that Mark, Flip and Brian's lack of investment in Creed is what allows this stuff to continue. Say what you want about Stapp and his personal promotion, but at least when he had control of the pages he was putting stuff out there for fans. He knows we want Creed and he played certain hits live on his solo tour. Nowadays we have to deal with these gooks who obviously couldn't care less about the band and since Tremonti and co. can always hop back to Alter Bridge, they don't care either. Worse, it looks like Stapp doesn't even have control of his own pages anymore, at least at the moment. It went from personal posts about his family to the mediocre promotional stuff the regular Creed brigade throws out.
What's hardest for me to grasp is why the label thinks treating us this way is acceptable. Let's remove the morals from the equation: if they hated every single one of us and vomited at the idea of Creed's music, but still PROMOTED the band positively, they'd stand to make so much more money. The way they're doing this stuff now is just bad business, never mind the fact that it pisses us off.
John, Stapp is not a signed artist anymore. POL was his last album contract he said, so they would not be using his pages.
I don't think any member of Creed really cares to be honest. Scott is all about his own world, Mark probably thinks it's great the accounts are following all these alter bridge fans, Erock even got a follow and thanked the Creed account which I find hilarious when he toured with Creed since 2009, Brian is probably busy with his kid and Flip is probably oblivious out golfing all the time. I doubt they even know why any fans would be upset about being addressed with that hashtag, it's not cool.
Creed pages should be used for Creed. This is 2015 and there are pages for everything else so let Creed have some for the band. Ok to post once in awhile if a solo thing is going on but not blow it up with everything but Creed related things.
I've only ever gotten the feeling that Scott put out solo albums because the band was taken away from him, not because he isn't invested. On the contrary, I get the feeling that he's the only one that 100% still into Creed, think whatever you will about that. I know many critics and even some fans get annoyed with him and his sometimes annoying ego, but since his last few relapses I think he's come down to earth a bit more. He was also diagnosed as bipolar, so that no doubt has something to do with it.
Where'd you hear that Scott is unsigned? The way I heard it he and Wind-Up swept everything under the rug and started a new contract with Proof of Life.
Oh God please don't turn this thread into a Scott solo, poor Scott thread. We have beat that topic to death and no one wants to hear it anymore.
He left Mark alone in the Creed lawsuit to make a deal for himself. The deal was a one album solo contract, that was POL. Mark won the lawsuit and got a good load of money. Thread on here with that info. and also some post on here of Scott saying that POL was his last contract.
You all have to understand something ok, the guys do not care about Creed anymore. Scott is too busy taking selfies, Mark is too busy with his band touring like crazy, Brian probably doesn't even pay attention to what goes on Creeds fb or twitter same with Phillips. Look at ab pages, they suck ass. All they are is shit loads of retweets or reposts of things fans posts.
There is a difference here man, Creed needs to rebrand, rebuild and we have sat by and watched it be handled like shit since they returned in 2009. People want Creed back but everything that gets done only seems like it's making Creed look really bad.

UPDATE FOR ANYONE INTERESTED: I emailed Amazon.com about the retrospective. As far as I know, they got word first and put up a pre-order listing (www.amazon.com/With-Arms-Wide-Open-Retrospective/dp/B015FWTBK2). They removed the pre-order option around the same time that the online press kit got locked and the retrospective was axed from Bicycle's upcoming releases page. Here's what they had to say:
We rely on the publisher for release date information, and earlier they've indicated that With Arms Wide Open: A Retrospective will be released on November 20. Now they're not confirmed with the date. That is the reason we've removed in our website.
Once this item has been released and we receive copies, we'll be able to ship to customers. Once the release date has confirmed the pre-order will be posted in our website. If you still need any further clarifications please let us know, we'll resolve your concern to your satisfaction. Thank you for your cooperation and patience. We look forward to assisting you.
So aside from the normal big corporate email gibberish (and some shoddy english), it seems like the retrospective has been actively delayed for reasons currently unknown. We still have over a month before projected street date, so it could very well come back online again in the next few weeks and hit the same day. Hopefully this isn't just some technicality but an actual attempt at involving the whole band or adding some extra material that wasn't originally a part of the package (I sure hope they don't REMOVE anything). Regardless, I assume this means that the release is still expected, the timeframe has just been altered.

I hope it means something better is coming our way instead. I hope Creed gets more hands on with everything regarding this retrospective and their social sites. Thanks for filling us in on this Johnzilla. I laughed out loud when you cracked the password, not at what it was but the fact you had the idea if even trying it. Kudos!
Nothing is on the same page with the members, label or management, so that is what we all notice and why it comes off making them look lame. I find it ironic Stapps pages follow things and moments after so does Creed's or vice versa. Tonight after he put out a pic of himself and followed something, less than a minute later so did Creed's page. That happens frequently too, just saying hmmmmmmm
