I think Stapp is cheesy, everything he does away from creed is on the cheesy side. The Creed guys: Mark, BMarsh and Flip always balanced that cheese factor out which is why Creed is liked and the solo stuff Stapp does appeals only to a few.
kimz3 I don't think being honest and caring about someones health will make people jump all over you.
I feel like Stapp gets fed a fake reality a lot. Like pages for him on facebook wont let you say opinions, you can only agree with what they want you to say about things. You are only allowed to say everything is good and he is great. Yet, I remember Stapp saying the reason he loved Creed fans was that they were real with him, they told him how it was, you know honest and not fake.
Stapp always used Creed pages to follow something he was doing, as was already stated by adam12. Creed pages followed People Mag, Good Morning America and Vh1. He was on the first 2 shows already so its not hard to see that they are probably doing that show. In fact they most likely told TMZ they would be arriving at gate "" at LAX to get some promo going for the show. That lady mentioned in the TMZ thing tweeted Scott and his wife and right after Scott and Jaclyn followed her. I think I saw that show a long time ago and usually they have one couple come after the others have been there awhile. They are filming now according to that Jen lady who hosts it. It airs in September so they will probably announce who is on it soon. Then moviebuff can post links for us all to watch it online haha!
How about starting a business or getting a real job like Brian did, instead of doing a pathetic TV show where he's going to apologise again and again to his wife, and cry in front of the camera ? There is something completely fake about this couple. I mean, look at the interview they did in early may : they don't look natural at all, it's like they're always in PR mode.
We can all assume Stapp is pretty much broke. He had to sell his mansion, he got rid of some prized possessions, and Creed is pretty much on hiatus for a while. His solo career is going nowhere, and he's out of options in the entertainment business. If he thinks this VH1 show will draw new fans, he's dead wrong. I'm pretty sure it will make his haters mock him a little more.
My biggest concern is Scott's health, I feel like this is the last thing he should be doing if they are on it. I do wonder sometimes who makes these decisions? He has made so many career mistakes it's like I think to myself who is directing him, I suppose he makes his own choices though.
Remember Scott said POL was his last solo album contract. I thought he would be all about his health and then in the future when he is well they could do new Creed.
One of the guys from 30 seconds to mars made a joke yesterday about Scott being on tv. I hope if they are doing it that it doesn't worsen things for how he is viewed. I doubt that will be the case though.
Woah dude you must not pay attention to what comments say at all. People are saying that he was just fighting for his life and it's not such a great idea to go on a show let alone one like that. That show gets has been's and exploits them. It's not like it's some show with a great reputation, it's tabloid tv. He has gone thru the same scenario each relapse so people are concerned and think that he should do it all different this time. He has only just got out of rehab my god! He scared so many people that he was not going to make it this time. Now just out of rehab he is being put on a show like that? If it's true, that is cray cray for anyones sobriety to put yourself in that situation so soon after that hard core of a fall.
I have seen comments from people who do not follow Creed at all say he should not go on tv, especially that particular show. So it's not only fans who feel like this about it. I guess we should just drop it and go talk about something else. We will find out soon enough if it's true.
