I think they will but not any time soon. I only think they will do one more album and not put much effort into it since they hate the label they are on, except for maybe Stapp. I cant see effort going into it knowing they hate the label can you?
"Will Creed Be Back?":'( i dont know anymore...just thinking of creed makes me sad now...i cant even bring myself to listen to their music anymore...sometimes i feel jealuos of the alterbridge fanbase..they'll never have to worry about losing their favorite band...plus im scared wind-up is gonna do everything in their power to destroy what creed was...and to top it all off whenever creed does make another album it will most likely be purely for money (:'(
Artistically, they're done. Mark is not into Creed anymore, and him and Stapp can't stand each other, which doesn't help create songs.
But they'll definitely be back. You see, Mark and Stapp have bills, and year after year, they add up. They're used to a certain lifestyle, and their other projects don't allow them to sustain the said lifestyle. So don't worry guys, they will definitely be playing shows many many times in the next 20 years. They're already a nostalgia act, and I predict from now on, they'll tour once every 3 or 4 years in order to pay the bills and taxes. It's quite sad when you're a fan and want new albums, but it's still better than nothing, isn't it ?
Yup, why can't we just admit it? The glory days of Creed are over. It was all about conviction and its lost that conviction now.I just met a very old school friend whom I hadn't met in years. Music crept in, and some Creed/ Alter Bridge related scene came up, he had the same thing to say, They are just not the same anymore, the musicians, in Alter Bridge and Stapp solo are just not what Creed once used to be, its arguable, but thats what I feel and a lot more. Alter Bridge is still bearable, Stapp seems to have lost all control of his career. Poor decisions, and poorer ones. I wish the guys all the best, but how can something as awesome as Creed be not recognised and worse still, condemned . I received my Fortress copy in the mail today, gave it a spin, liked Lover, was heading out, played Human Clay in the car through the drive. There.. such a massive difference, I cannot comprehend how that band is ignored. Creed used to be magical. Alter Bridge kinda has sunken into the Shinedown etc category, no offence, I think its a lot more for the younger generation. Maybe it is that, Just that, I grew up with Creed and a lot others grew up with Alter Bridge later.... But Creed used to be a killer band.
We see this thing happen with many bands, they think all the other bands and projects they do are going to take off but they never really do and the fan base all wait and want the original band. Creed guys are far too young to be a nostalgia act so I hope they wake up and appreciate what is right there for the taking. They could create some of the most amazing music but the relationship has to be fixed. Stapp was so mellow in 2009 and physically fit I dont know how things turned sour again. Sometimes we have to lose something more then once to understand how amazing it is. I dont think they get it yet and what a shame.

or buy out of it which Mark said they would never make that mistake again. I wouldn't want them to come back until it was real desire to rock and make great music again. Until Stapp and Mark can both grow up it wouldn't work.

I really really hope so but like so many of you have said, their hearts have to be in it. Creed is what fuels AB imho. When that fan base dies down some, Creed picks them back up (and Slash!). Creed was my real first love for music, and it was really heartbreaking when it ended. Seeing them again doesn't exactly feed the need when they hardly go near one another. When we first saw them on tour after they reunited, the fuel was there. The last show they wouldn't go anywhere near Stapp. I believe that was close to his book release and I doubt, whether true or not, they liked what he had to say. Truthfully, bands sound the way they do because of the vocals. AB all sounds the same to me, not saying I dont buy their tunes but it's Stapp's voice that soothes my soul and gets me in my comfort zone.
the mistake people make including Stapp is thinking it has to be one or the other. Fans and his issues have made things shitty for us all. If everyone would just take a chill pill and get on board with all of the music no matter your preference and stop making it all about camps for one or the other or for the solo things. Looking back that is was made things negative again and it sucks because the best days could be ahead if that bullshit would of never started. I hope Stapp has learned another lesson and just embraces what bothers him and sees the difference that makes. If you really care about people that is how you handle your own issues and insecurities, you dont spend time pointing out others wrongs or living as a victim. We all know Creed could really make a new road in music, if they wanted to.
Stapp, Flip and Brian were fine with each other. It was Stapp who wouldn't go anywhere near Tremonti, and not because of the book. It all went sour after Tremonti bailed on the new Creed album to promote his solo stuff.
they all said they would not rush album 5, so if Mark felt the material wasn't there or ready he has every right to not rush it which fans were begging them not too because FC was so rushed to just get it out . There was never a timeline for it and if they had rushed it, it would never be what it should be. People have to understand it was-is never going to be just Creed and in fact it was a miracle Creed even got back together. The mindset has to change people because look what happened holding on to the bs and having camps for 1 member against the other or band against band. Look around the normal thing in music is doing lots of things and being apart of more then one band.
