::yawn:: Well, it's been a very long month for me, as well as a very long day. I called all of the local indie stores in South Florida and my favorite store had them. I went to sleep early last night and ended up getting two hours sleep and said screw it, and drove to Lauderdale. I was at the store waiting in line by 5:30am. I was 8th in line in a line that, come 9AM when they opened the doors, wrapped around the entire block and building. I got my hands on 3 of the 4 copies, one for myself and the other two I'll post up on ebay. I'll post the links once I take pictures of em and post them up. I spent about 40 minutes in line waiting to pay for them and when I left there was still a line that wrapped around the building of people waiting to get in. Most of them probably not realizing that what they were probably coming for was probably sold out within the first two minutes of the stores opening. It's a rare limited pressed vinyl, I think I read only 800 or something was made of them. What makes it rare, besides it's pressing is that this is the first time some of these bands, namely Seether, Finger Elven, Young Guns, have music that is pressed to vinyl.
The store should of told the people it no longer had any copies.
I was able to get 2 at one place and 5 at another. Keeping 2 and then helped out some friends by getting them a copy. I have everything from Creed so wanted this as well.
Believe me, no one was coming to the record store I went to looking for the Wind-Up Compilation.
They got many of the titles that were listed on the RSD site, but some they only got maybe 2-3 copies of exclusive pressing records. What state are you in? You got lucky that you had two record stores that actually got in the Wind-Up vinyl, the place I went to was the only one of four stores in South Florida that got it.
